VentureSoul Partners plans to raise an additional Rs 300 crore after closing its first loan fund at Rs 300 crore.

VentureSoul Partners, a Category II Alternative Investment Fund registered with SEBI that specialises in structured finance for new-economy businesses, has achieved its initial fund's base target of Rs 300 crore.

The company intends to raise an additional Rs 300 crore by February 2026 and has now activated the green-shoe option.

In addition to the Rupa Group, Glen Appliances, and individual supporters including Omkar Shirhatti of Perfios, E. Madhusudan, the inventor of KreditBee, and promoters from Canpac and the Zebronics Group, the fund is anchored by Micro Labs Ltd. In September 2024, VentureSoul achieved its first closure at Rs 146 crore, allowing it to start active deployment.

The company has undertaken 15 investments in high-growth new economy firms since October 2024. Playshifu, Zolostays, Metro Telworks, Metalbook, Captain Fresh, Mozark, and True Credits are among the companies in the portfolio.

The fund supports fintech, B2C, B2B, and SaaS startups at Series A and later stages by writing average checks of Rs 20 crore to Rs 25 crore. The company offers tailored venture-debt and structured financing that helps founders minimise equity dilution while scaling by fusing traditional credit discipline with data-driven underwriting.

Former HSBC bankers Anurag Tripathi, Ashish Gala, and Kunal Wadhwa launched VentureSoul in 2023. The partners founded the company with the intention of creating a value-driven lending platform for new-economy companies in India.

Over the last six years, the venture-debt market in India has grown over thirteen times. Startups raised almost $1.23 billion from venture-debt funds in 2024 alone, indicating a growing need for specialist finance at a time when early-stage businesses frequently have trouble getting access to regular lenders.
